Jason Aldean is Mad That Brad Paisley Got Alabama Back Together.

JASON ALDEAN had mixed emotions when he heard BRAD PAISLEY had pulled ALABAMA out of retirement to perform on his single "Old Alabama". On one hand, Jason was happy that his favorite band was back in business. But on the other, he was annoyed that HE wasn't the one who pulled it off. Jason says, quote, "I'm actually kind of mad at Paisley. "I wanted to be the guy that got Alabama out of retirement, and it was him. So, I'm a little upset with him right now. But I'm glad somebody did it. Those guys need to be back at it. I miss hearing them sing together."

The Rapture Didn't Happen on Saturday, But at Least Someone Found the Virgin Mary on a Turtle Shell!

The Rapture didn't end up happening over the weekend, so the second coming is not upon us after all. But the world DID get this . . . On Saturday, in Streamwood, Illinois, a woman found an image of the VIRGIN MARY on the underside of a turtle. I'm always skeptical of these things and the image looks more like DARTH VADER than the Virgin Mary to me. But it's the closest we got to something of Biblical proportions on Saturday, so we'll roll with it.

John Rich Thinks a "Fair Portion" of Celebrities are Completely Crazy . . . And He Swears Donald Trump's Hair is Real!

Are celebrities completely crazy, or does it just seem like it? They are, according to JOHN RICH, who was asked that very question. He answered, quote, "Completely crazy? A fair portion. I think to have a long career in the entertainment business, you've got to be a little crazy because you get the snot beaten out of you a lot. "You get told no. You fail a whole lot. To keep coming back and back and back when the odds are stacked so high against you, you've got to be a little crazy. It's like being a bull rider."
--Speaking of John Rich, by competing on "The Celebrity Apprentice", which he won on Sunday, he's actually been close enough to get a good look at what's on DONALD TRUMP'S head. And John swears that it REALLY IS HAIR. He said, quote, "What surprised me the most is that (Trump's) hair is real. It is! It actually is. He had HOPE (DWORACZYK), who is a 'Playboy' playmate, of course, come up, and he said, 'Hope, you can feel it. It's totally real.' "Sure enough, she's running her fingers through it and we're all going, 'Okay, here you go.'"

Now THAT'S Funny!

Jerrod Niemann Has *No* Embarrassing Songs on His iPod!

Most of us would admit we have a few songs on our portable device that we're not exactly proud to tell everyone about. Somebody tried to trap JERROD NIEMANN into admitting he does . . . but he wouldn't bite. He answered, quote, "I don't have embarrassing songs. My iPod, it's pretty dear to me, so I am not embarrassed. My parents owned a rolling skating rink while I was growing up, so there are those songs. (--Like what Jerrod, "Dancing Queen"? But, I digress...continue...LOL)"And some old-school TUPAC (SHAKUR), the song, 'Me Against the World' . . . and old-school stuff, like 'Walk This Way' with RUN-D.M.C. and AEROSMITH." Jerrod also talked about having GARTH BROOKS and rockers VAMPIRE WEEKEND on his iPod. Personally, I'm cool with the diversity. How about you? Any songs you wish to keep secret? Hit us up on Facebook!

Could "American Idol's" Scotty McCreery Be the Next Taylor Swift?

SCOTTY MCCREERY may or may not end up winning "American Idol". It's down to him and LAUREN ALAINA. But I'm willing to bet he's going to have a solid career either way. And here's why. He's already writing songs that can make young girls cry. That's according to Scotty's longtime guitar teacher, a man named Gary Epperson. He said, quote, "I heard (Scotty) do a song about a girl. "It was about how she had broken his heart and the girl at the party (was) cryin'." Obviously, one song doesn't make a career . . . but this does prove Scotty has skills. The kind of skills that have made TAYLOR SWIFT one of the biggest stars on the planet.

The Federal Government Put Out a Manual For Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse!

Someone over at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has a sense of humor that we've NEVER seen before out of the federal government. Either that, or they genuinely believe the prediction that the world is ending tomorrow. The CDC just released their preparedness guide for a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. They posted it online, and the opening paragraph says, quote, "You may laugh now, but when it happens you'll be happy you read this.". It's a way for them to go over normal disaster tips, like evacuation routes, but in an attention-grabbing way. As in, quote "When zombies are hungry they won't stop until they get food, which means you need to get out of town fast! "Plan where you would go and multiple routes you would take ahead of time so that the flesh eaters don't have a chance!"

And Now . . . Taylor Swift's Take on The Rules of Love.

TAYLOR SWIFT is the cover story in the June issue of "InStyle" magazine. They leaked a little of the riveting interview where she talks about, what else, love. Taylor said, quote, "There are no rules when it comes to love. I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you're going to fall in love with. "You never know who's going to come into your life and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don't think about what their career is, or what they look like. I picture the feeling I get when I'm with them." The issue is out Friday.

Probably "The GREATEST Marriage Proposal Ever"!

I'm not much for videos over a couple of minutes. BUT...with that being said, this is not your typical "Scoreboard At The Stadium" proposal! No Sir! This is probably the most creative proposal ever! Totally worth your time. Enjoy!

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton Went Fishing on Their Honeymoon, And She's Taking His Last Name But Not Professionally.

MIRANDA LAMBERT and BLAKE SHELTON are staying true to their country roots. Instead of jetting off to some exotic honeymoon they strapped on the hip waders and went angling. Miranda even Tweeted a photo of the fish she caught, which looks to me like a largemouth bass. She wrote in the Tweet, quote, "Honeymoon bliss!" Miranda is also staying away from that hyphenated married name fad. She is now officially Miranda Shelton. That's what her driver's license says. Of course, she Tweeted that too. Just a couple days after the wedding, she wrote, "Mrs. Shelton here! Winning!" Unfortunately, your Miranda Lambert albums will not become collector's items because she's keeping her maiden name professionally.

Tim McGraw Sued by Label for Breach of Contract!

Tim McGraw has been sued by his record label, Curb Records, for breach of contract, according to Billboard. The label contends McGraw presented the master recordings for his new album, Emotional Traffic, too closely to the completion of his 2009 album, Southern Voice. As a result, attorneys for Curb allege the recordings were not "topical and new," as his contract stipulated. According to the Billboard story, the contract also stated that McGraw could only record his albums "no earlier than 12 months and no later than 18 months" following the delivery of the previous album. McGraw, who has recorded for Curb Records throughout his career, has publicly criticized the label for the way it has released and repackaged his recordings. McGraw's representative told Billboard that Emotional Traffic will complete his contractual obligation with the label. Curb Records did not offer a comment to Billboard.

Miranda Lambert Wore a $1.2 Million Diamond Necklace at her Wedding and Blake's Ring Was Based On One of His Tattoos.

MIRANDA LAMBERT and BLAKE SHELTON were blinged to the max when they got married on Saturday. According to "People", Miranda wore a $1.2 million, 30-carat diamond necklace . . . plus diamond teardrop earrings to match. At the reception, Miranda was wearing a $250,000 cocktail ring with 60 carats of multi-colored sapphires set in 18-karat black gold. (--Before you look down at your Cracker Jack ring, please remember that Blake is dripping with cash.) And then there are the wedding bands. Miranda's was a 5-carat white diamond "Eternity" ring. It was designed to complement her engagement ring. The design of Blake's wedding band was based on one of his tattoos and it supposedly took 60 days for the jeweler to hand engrave it. It also has a black diamond mounted on the inside, per the bride's request. The dude who crafted the jewels is Johnathon Arndt. His website is loaded with photos of country stars wearing his overly expensive stuff. Unfortunately, no photos yet of Blake & Amanda's jewelry yet.

MIRANDA LAMBERT and BLAKE SHELTON are husband and wife. They made it official on Saturday at the Don Strange Ranch, which is a resort/ranch some 35 miles north of San Antonio, Texas. According to "Us Weekly", 550 friends and family attended the festivities. Blake's buddy NEAL MCCOY sang at the wedding. Other famous guests included Reba McEntire, Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride (Lady Antebellum's) Charles Kelley, Josh Kelley and his wife Katherine Heigl, Kelly Clarkson, Cee Lo Green, Chris Young, and the Bellamy Brothers. Here's Miranda's very prepared after-ceremony statement, quote, "I'm married to my best friend! Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter." Blake added, quote, "I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed. Finally, it's official!" For those of you who are interested such things, Miranda wore her mother's wedding dress. No word on what Blake was wearing. The couple is spending the next week or so enjoying their honeymoon at a location they don't want us to know about. This is Miranda's first marriage. Blake was married to Kaynette Williams from 2003 to 2006.

Taylor Swift Thinks Celebrities Who Complain About the Paparazzi Are "Obnoxious".

TAYLOR SWIFT totally gets that you give up your private life when you become a celebrity. She drove that point home yesterday during her appearance on "Ellen". She said, quote, "I think it's just obnoxious if I complain about anything. I hear other people talk about, 'Oh, the intrusions on my privacy.' It's like there are a million other jobs you could have had. "For me, I've just come to the acceptance of the fact that this is my life. For me it's just, live your life and if people take pictures, you laugh about it in the car afterwards."

Luke Bryan will release a new album, Tailgates & Tanlines, on Aug. 9. Bryan made the announcement Wednesday during a live video stream on his Facebook page. To give viewers a preview of the album, he performed two of its tracks, "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" (noting that he had never played it before) and "Drunk on You" (a song he's been previewing on tour with Tim McGraw). If you watched "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", then you know how Carlton used to show off his ridiculous dance moves to the Tom Jones song "It's Not Unusual". And so The Carlton' was born. And there's a great new video on YouTube where a U.S. soldier in full gear does 'The Carlton' on top of a tank, with rockets firing in the background!

Jennifer Nettles Understands That She Can't Please Everyone.

If SUGARLAND'S "Incredible Machine" album is a little too strange for your country tastes, well, that's okay with JENNIFER NETTLES. She knows she can't please everyone. She says, quote, "I definitely don't make my decisions based on the fact that some people aren't going to like something. You have to have something that people don't like every now and then or else you're living too safely." And if you've seen Sugarland in concert then you know Jennifer makes no apologies there either. They're pretty famous for covering other artists, like R.E.M. or CEE-LO GREEN. Jennifer explains, quote, "I love singing all kinds of music and I have a bit of musical ADD. "I like to play around with different textures and colors and parts of my instrument. I have a lot of different musical influences. As long as you're being yourself, the fans learn to respect it and trust it."

I Love This Video! Taylor Swift - "Mean"

A Man Escapes From the Police . . . Then Gets Caught When He Goes To Home Depot To Find a Tool To Remove His Handcuffs!

On Sunday morning, the police in Pensacola, Florida arrested a man for battery after he got into a fight. He was taken to the hospital, handcuffed, and treated for injuries. At the hospital, he managed to escape, even though he was still handcuffed. But then things started falling apart. About an hour later, the police got a call from employees at a Home Depot near the hospital. They said there was a guy in there in handcuffs asking what he could buy at the Home Depot to REMOVE them. The police came and arrested him...AGAIN!

Sheryl Crow is Recording a Full-On Country Album and Brad Paisley is Helping Her With It!

This will NOT surprise you. SHERYL CROW is finally plunging all the way into country music. The "Minneapolis Star-Tribune" flat-out asked Sheryl if she's "ready" to make a country album. Sheryl said, quote, "Funny you should ask. I'm working on it right now. I'm doing some work with BRAD PAISLEY. I've been doing a lot of writing. Hopefully it'll be out early next year." As far as what it will sound like, she's going ALL old school. She says, quote, "I had a huge response after I sang 'Coal Miner's Daughter' with LORETTA LYNN." (--on the 'CMA Awards') "That's the kind of country music I really love, the old-fashioned JIMMIE RODGERS, CARTER FAMILY, Loretta Lynn kind of country music. It will be more old-fashioned than it will be new country." It's not clear if Sheryl is making a permanent switch to country, or just doing this one album. She's been living in Nashville for a while and isn't leaving. She said, quote, "I love the people down here. I love the music down here. It just suits me better." Plus, as you know, Sheryl and KID ROCK have had two country singles "Pictures" and "Collide". And she performed on Brad Paisley's song "Life's Railway to Heaven", along with MARTY STUART and CARL JACKSON.

Congratulations to Aileen from Kingston for know ing the correct answer to todays question! The GRAND PRIZE Winner will be announced at 8:50 today!

It's been a crazy day at work, and I’m starved, I want something quick..so I think fish in the microwave, that shouldn't take that long! I plop it in a pyrex dish, put a lid on it and in it goes...but it doesn't seem to be cooking so I just keep adding time to the cook cycle..when you finally take it out it sort of resembles jiffy pop..or maybe fishy pop...what could I have done to avoid this stinky mess?

A. Placed plastic wrap over the pyrex, with 1 corner left open for venting and cooked at a lower temp.
B. started with frozen fish, not fresh
c. should have stopped for a Filet-O-fish at McDonalds on the way home.

What should you have done?

A. melted down the half eaten Chocolate bunny from 2 years ago
B. mix food colorings together so the batter sort of looks brown
C. added a mixture of 3 parts cocoa powder and 1 part oil to the batter to add the chocolate gooeyness

Tim McGraw Believes Acting is Making Him a Better Musician

TIM MCGRAW would like you to believe that his frequent forays into acting have made him a better musician. Seriously. He says, quote, "I think acting makes me better at music. They're sort of kissing cousins. "I think it gives you a different mirror to look into. I just like the idea of becoming someone else and getting lost in it. When you're in the studio, you're creating this vignette in your mind. "You're walking through this song and you're trying to create empathy. You're trying to make people want to know what's going to happen as they follow you through this song. It's the same thing you're doing in a movie."

It was kind of a rainy night here in the Hudson Valley and what better on a night like that than a nice warm bowl of homemade soup. Into the kitchen I go, all the ingredients are chopped and tossed in, I added the broth, and then I began to season it...I tasted it and it doesn't seem to have enough salt so I added more...a little later I taste it and still not enough salt so I add more...I did this 3 more times, when it's time to serve it I taste one last time and it is way too salty...now what am I gonna do???

A. Strain it through a Cheesecloth to absorb the salt

B. Put chunks of raw potato in and let simmer abit longer, then remove the potatoes and toss as they have absorbed the salt

c. grab your wife's sea sponge from the bathroom to soak up the extra salt

When the timer goes off and you remove the souffle from the oven, it's flatter than a pancake...what should you have done differently to keep this from happenning....

A. Added more Yeast
B. Instead of stirring by hand you should have used the paint mixer from Home Depot
C. Gently folded in the egg whites

Martina McBride Says She's "Too Lazy" to Compete on "Dancing with the Stars".

Seems like every celebrity contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" ends up surprised at how much work it takes to learn and tirelessly rehearse all the dance routines. That's not going to happen to MARTINA MCBRIDE, because she'll never do the show. Martina says, quote, "I think it's a fun show, but it looks like a lot of work, and I think there's some working out involved. "The idea of spending all day working out and learning how to dance . . . [it's] probably not for me. I just wanna instantly be able to dance like that. I'm lazy like that." But Martina could see herself getting involved in BLAKE SHELTON'S new show. She says, quote, "I love 'The Voice'. I think it's a really great show. I [think] it's really a cool concept. I would consider doing something like that."
