Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band Share "Pretty Cool" Grammy!
Alan Jackson and the Zac Brown Band each won their second career Grammy for their No. 1 hit, "As She's Walking Away," on Sunday (Feb. 13) in Los Angeles. The song won for best country collaboration with vocals. Last year, the Zac Brown Band won for best new artist, while Jackson's "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)" won a Grammy in 2002 for best country song. "I was real honored when Zac asked me to be on this record," Jackson said. "You know, it's pretty cool when a few of us Georgia boys can end up winning a Grammy out in L.A." Brown noted, "It was an honor to be recognized by the Recording Academy as best new artist last year, and to be able to follow that up with another win this year was just incredible. We want to thank our supportive fans, our hard working team and all the great artists who've collaborated with us, including one of our musical heroes, Alan Jackson, who we share the win for best country collaboration. We're thrilled, and we're simply going to continue making music we love
