Taylor Swift is gearing up to release her third single from her ACM-nominated Speak Now album. “Mean” will be hitting radio airwaves soon and like many of Taylor’s songs, this one is personal. She wrote “Mean” in response to repeated criticism from someone that turned from critic to personal attacker. While Taylor gets that people will be critical, she is quick to point out that there is a line between being critical and being just plain mean.
