TIM MCGRAW would like you to believe that his frequent forays into acting have made him a better musician. Seriously. He says, quote, "I think acting makes me better at music. They're sort of kissing cousins. "I think it gives you a different mirror to look into. I just like the idea of becoming someone else and getting lost in it. When you're in the studio, you're creating this vignette in your mind. "You're walking through this song and you're trying to create empathy. You're trying to make people want to know what's going to happen as they follow you through this song. It's the same thing you're doing in a movie."
