Just In Time For Football Season! The Three Worst Football Tattoos!

College football starts tomorrow night. Just in time for the season, we gathered the TOP 3 of the WORST football tattoos EVER for your amusement!

The Steelers, prison-style.  It's amazing this tattoo was done by a professional.  It's a horrible, asymmetrical, disastrous rendering of the Pittsburgh Steelers logo.  And "Steelers" looks like it was misspelled.

Centaur TIM TEBOW.  For some reason, a guy got a tattoo of Tim Tebow's head and torso on a horse's body.  Just to make it worse, Tebow is wearing a Denver Broncos helmet . . . and now he's on the New York Jets.

The Texans as Super Bowl champs. Some guy got the Houston Texans logo on his leg, along with the slogan "Super Bowl XLVI Champions." The only problem is, they weren't. The New York Giants won.  The Texans lost in the second round of the playoffs.

J-E-T-S...JETS, JETS, JETS!!!

Let me start by saying that most of you know by now that I am a Giants fan. Always have been, always will be. Now, with that being said, some New York Jets fans are going to be Team Sanchez . . . and some are going to be Team Tebow. I'm guessing the kid TIM TEBOW is holding in this picture is Team Sanchez! LOL! I think that The Jets just might have a great shot "IT" this year. I think Tim Tebow was a great addition to the Jets roster. But, only time will tell.

The Pittsburgh Steelers Gave Kenny Chesney a Six-Foot Plaque.

KENNY CHESNEY got a huge honor before taking the stage Saturday night at Heinz field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Rooney family, who own the Pittsburgh Steelers, gave him a giant cast iron Six For Six plaque. It represents Kenny selling out his sixth show at the stadium and the Steelers winning six Super Bowl championships. Kenny's a football nut so he was beyond excited. He, said, quote, "I believe this might be the best gift I've ever gotten on the road. It epitomizes all the heart and energy and passion that this crowd has, that this town has." They also gave Kenny a Steelers helmet signed by former Super Bowl MVP and Hall Of Famer FRANCO HARRIS. Picuted with Kenny is Steeler QB BEN ROETHLISBERGER!

NFL Takes On Crazy, Rowdy Fans..

Between 30 and 40 fans are kicked out of the average NFL game, for being drunk, fighting, or other types of disorderly conduct. And now, it's going to be tougher for them to get back in. Fans thrown out of a stadium will have to take a four-hour online anger-management course that costs $75. The course includes topics on the risk factors of alcohol abuse, skills for improving judgment, stress management, and, quote, “understanding the effect one has on the fan experience." It was designed by a licensed psychotherapist. -At the end of the course, they'll be given a psychological test before they're allowed to attend another game. And they have to get 70% of the questions right to pass. If they DON'T take the class and go to the stadium anyway, they can be arrested by security guards for trespassing. The Patriots, Jets, and Giants have had the policy since 2010, but the entire league will use it for the first time this season.

Country Stars Share Their Super Bowl Plans and Predictions...

Upwards of a billion people will tune in to the Super Bowl this Sunday, and that number includes some of country's hottest starts. Chris Young will be tuning in for the pre-game show to see his pals Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert sing "America the Beautiful" before kickoff. He says, "I'm gonna be excited for 'em. That's a big deal, and obviously, that's one of those events that really is truly, classically American." As for who he thinks will triumph in this Sunday's game, Chris admits he "really doesn't have a dog in that fight." He says, "If I gotta go out on a limb, I'm gonna go Giants."
Dierks Bentley performed at the Super Bowl Village in Indianapolis last weekend, but you won't find him especially rooting for either team. "I just want a great game,". He's actually hoping for a down-to-the-wire finish with a possible outcome in overtime. Says Dierks, "That'd be pretty cool. The longer you can keep drinking during the game, the better."
Luke Bryan will definitely be tuning in to the Super Bowl at a party with friends, but he admits that football doesn't mean as much to him since his two sons came along. A few weeks ago, Luke was fired up to watch some NFL playoff games, but his two sons wanted him to enjoy the sunny day outside instead. "When you don't get to see your children much, you know, football takes a backseat."

One Giant Leap For FANKIND!

Not since 2007 have I been this excited! I have to say that the Post Season has been the best it's been in years. I've watched every game and watched my beloved NY Giants defy the odds week after week, win after win. I have to say, I thought I was spent after the Green Bay game, not nearly as spent as I was after the 49ers game. The one constant, my favorite player of all time, Michael Strahan. When the odds were so stacked against the Giants, Michael continued to place his support squarely behind the Giants as I have. So, in tribute to Big Blue, here are some pics, including what I have done to the On Air studio. Go Giants! Bring it on home!!! By The Way...I have't washed that Manning jersey since the 25-14 win over the Jets! Thanks to my wife for understanding!
Emotionally spent after the 49ers game.

2 of my favorite Jets Fans & my two babies showing love and support for The G Men.

Craig Morgan Has Steven Tyler's Back on the National Anthem Controversy

A lot of people piled on STEVEN TYLER for his less-than-stellar performance of the National Anthem at Sunday's New England Patriots / Baltimore Ravens game. CRAIG MORGAN is NOT one of them. Craig's had the honor of singing the anthem a bunch of times and he feels Steven's pain.
He told TasteOfCountry.com, quote, "The Anthem is a tough song to do, and I feel bad for anybody who gets out there and has problems with it."
Craig says the first problem is getting the sound right. Even if the performer has in-ear monitors, it's difficult to hear when you're in ball fields or arenas . . . especially in gigantic NFL stadiums. He continues, quote, "The second is the pressure. It's just you, man. There's no music, there's nothing to cover you up. "It ain't like it's a song that you wrote. If I'm singing 'This Ole Boy' and I forget some words or something, I can kind of make something up and not a lot of attention (is) paid to it. You can't do that with the National Anthem."

Oregon's Rose Bowl Uniforms Channel Darth Vader.

Ever wonder what it would be like if Darth Vader played in the Rose Bowl?
You'll find out on January 2. The University of Oregon will debut the latest Nike Pro Combat gear that claims to be the most advanced football uniform system in the world. It's certainly the scariest. Much like the iPhone, the Nike Combat Uniforms -- which first debuted at last year's BCS title game -- keep introducing new versions. This outfit features 11 different materials in the jersey and pants, and 16 in the complete uniform. Oregon fans, always delighted to see their Ducks set trends, will be happy to know that the new unis include larger, bolder numbers with an iridescent sheen similar to that of a mallard duck's feathers. Or Lord Vader's coat.

Kenny Chesney Honors Childhood Hero in New Documentary

Kenny Chesney fielded a phone call from ESPN just a few days after finishing his first football documentary, Boys of Fall. They wanted to know if he'd consider producing another project spotlighting one of his sports idols, Condredge Holloway, the University of Tennessee player from the early '70s who became the first black quarterback in the Southeastern Conference. Although the singer was looking forward to a break in his demanding schedule, he knew he couldn't resist the offer.

Kenny Chesney To Sit Out This Year’s Super Bowl.

After attending last year’s Super Bowl to cheer on both opponents, Kenny Chesney will be watching the big game from home this year. Kenny said “The two teams that are in it, I’ve got a few friends that play on those teams, but I’m not emotionally or mentally invested in either one of those teams. So, I think I’m gonna have a small Super Bowl party at the house and have some family and friends over and relax and enjoy it at home so I don’t have to travel.” Just a few weeks after the Super Bowl Kenny will kick off his 2011 "Goin’ Coastal" Tour!

Martina McBride Sings At NFL Playoff Game

Martina McBride sang the National Anthem prior to yesterday's NFL playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and NY Jets. Martina, pictured above rehearsing prior to the game, continues to be good luck for the Steelers as they won the game and are headed to the Super Bowl!

Congratulations to The Steelers, Beth Christy and ALL Steelers fans!

This Marching Band Is Amazing!

During the halftime show at a recent University of Hawaii football game, the marching band did something pretty spectacular!

The individual band members formed the shape of a stick-figure football player that was as tall as the field is wide. Then the stick-figure ran in slow-motion across the field and "kicked" a giant football!

This Is Too Cool!
