The National Corvette Museum Has an Exhibit Featuring Vintage Cars Owned by Brad Paisley, Kix Brooks, George Strait and Dolly Parton.

If you love country music AND muscle cars, well, here's your nirvana. The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky has an exhibit called "Country Music Stars and Cars". It's a collection of Corvettes and Camaros owned by country stars. The exhibit includes Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's 1960 Corvette, Brad Paisley's 1999 Vette, Troy Gentry's 1970 Camaro SS, Steve Wariner's 1966 Vette, Roy Orbison's 1967 Corvette and Marty Robbins' 1981 Corvette. Three of my favorites include KIX BROOKS' 1958 Corvette, GEORGE STRAIT'S 1958 Corvette and DOLLY PARTON'S 1968 Camaro (pictured above). Probably because I HAD a 1967 Camaro SS. Yup, sold it. What a stupid kid I was!

Tim McGraw Hung Out With Some Soldiers As Part of Operation Homefront.

TIM MCGRAW surprised about 30 Nashville area troops and their families who were being treated to lunch at an Outback Steakhouse last Thursday. It was a Veteran's Day salute organized by Outback and Operation Homefront. Tim hung out with the troops and posed for some photos. He was pretty humble about it too. He told the troops, quote, "I just want to say thank you. You guys are the best. We get to do the things that we do because of you." A little later Tim added, quote, "I think the military is the most important thing we have in the country. But in the larger scope we wouldn't be able to do the things we do without the security of our military."

Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley Got Huge Style Props From "GQ" Magazine!

Would you be surprised to hear that "GQ" magazine was paying attention to last week's CMAs?
They were AND they gave big time style props to Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw, and Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley. Here's what they wrote, quote, "(These four) nail about every point we drive home here at 'GQ' when it comes to things like fit, proportion and keeping things minimal without being boring. "Musicians tend to be given more sartorial leeway than their artistic brethren in the acting field but these gents prove there's no need for it. Men of the Grammys take note and start booking time with your tailors."

"The MDA is just such a strong charity and such a strong organization and to be asked by them to be a part of the telethon was a no-brainer for us," Luke says. "We all grew up watching the telethon, and it’s just such an amazing charity and an amazing event." Carole King, Pitbull and Will.i.am are also on the show, and Luke hopes country fans will tune in and donate money to the fight against muscular dystrophy. He says, "I hope that my segment and country music’s segment and the whole Opry piece really helps the telethon do what it’s supposed to do –- raise a lot of money and help kids.” Check local listings to find out which channel is airing the MDA Show of Strength special in your area.

Tim McGraw Reveals His Inspiration for Getting Healthier.

Tim McGraw is more in shape than ever lately thanks to an intense workout regimen. The self-professed "gym rat" isn't getting the extra workouts in just to look good though. Tim says, "I just like being healthy. I quit drinking four years ago because I wanted to be healthy, and because I wanted to be around for my grandkids." Tim even hopes to meet his great-grandchildren some day.He returns to his home state of Louisiana on Friday for a show at the Superdome in New Orleans as part of the Brothers of the Sun tour with Kenny Chesney.

Grace Potter Thinks Tim McGraw is More Fit Than Kenny Chesney.

Last month we suggest that TIM MCGRAW has been trying to "out-buff" KENNY CHESNEY on their Brothers of the Sun Tour. Well, according to one of the opening acts, GRACE POTTER, mission accomplished. She watched Tim do his workout on a recent tour stop and was blown away. She said, quote, "He was lifting tires over his head. Like, huge truck tires. "I felt like I was sneaking into the Pentagon watching him work out. The guy is fit as a fiddle. And now I know why. He's the most healthy guy on this tour. There's no contest. He looks like Iron Man, in the Iron Man suit."

Jake Owen Doesn't Know Anything About Girls . . . And He's Getting Some Fatherhood Lessons From Tim McGraw.

JAKE OWEN and his wife Lacey Buchanan found out last week that they're going to have a baby in November. And how does Jake feel now that he knows he's going to have a daughter? He told CMT News over the weekend, quote, "I was scared at first, because I don't know anything about girls." They also asked him about how he and Lacey decided to learn whether it was a boy or a girl. But Jake said it was no big deal. Quote, "I wasn't into the surprise of it. I was already surprised when I found out she was PREGNANT." And as far as getting ready to be a dad, Jake says he has some good role models: His dad, his tour manager, his crew, and TIM MCGRAW, who he's been opening for on the 'Brothers of the Sun' tour. He said, quote, "Even doing what we do, guys out here show that it's possible to be a good dad. Tim was just outside working out, and he has his daughters right there with him. "I just have to maintain my focus. I don't want people thinking this will deter my perseverance."

Tim McGraw Only Gets Nervous in Front of Small Crowds, and He's Still Putting Off His Political Aspirations . . . For Now.

TIM MCGRAW is still churning through that 22-city 'Brothers in the Sun' tour with KENNY CHESNEY. It's stadiums only . . . and that's just how he likes it. He says, quote, "The bigger the crowd, the better for me. You get more nervous the smaller the crowd is. The intimate things are fun but it's more nerve-racking when you can see everybody. "When there's 50,000 people, you sort of can just play to the back of the audience and have a great time." And remember back when he threatened to run for office as a Democratic senator or governor in Tennessee? Well, those days are over . . . for now. Tim was in Minneapolis on Sunday, and the "Minneapolis Star Tribune" asked him about that. Probably because it's an election year, and Tim's never been shy when it comes to politics. Here's what we said.  Quote:  "That was back in my drinking days. Who knows? I feel like I've been very fortunate. "If one of these days I'm in a position where I can give back, and feel like I'm smart enough to help and not just doing it for the hell of doing it, then it would be something I'd consider. But certainly it would be after my kids are grown. "I pay attention. I'm not sure anyone wants to hear my opinion . . . or that I should give my opinions."

Scotty McCreery Joins Tim McGraw On Stage in Charlotte, NC.

Scotty McCreery reunited with his pal Tim McGraw on stage in Charlotte, NC, Sunday night. Tim brought the former American Idol champ out to sing "I Like It, I Love It" during his set on the Brothers of the Sun tour stop with Kenny Chesney. Scotty tweeted to Tim, "It was awesome! You're the man!"
This isn't the first time Tim and Scotty have shared the stage. They performed a duet of Tim's hit "Live Like You Were Dying" on the 2011 American Idol finale before Scotty was crowned the winner. Scotty also covered Tim's "Please Remember Me" as this season's American Idol exit song.

Is Tim McGraw Trying to "Out-Buff" Kenny Chesney?

TIM MCGRAW and KENNY CHESNEY are in the middle of their summer tour.  All the PR has been about their friendship . . . but I'm seeing something else. It looks like Tim is trying to "out-buff" Kenny.
Last Friday Tim Tweeted a shirtless photo of him holding an athletic shoe. As usual, he's all muscled-up . . . but now he's super cut, just like Kenny. Looks like he's 10 pounds lighter than he used to be. And check this out, Tim has been going out of his way on the tour to get Kenny to eat fattening crap. Kenny told CMTs Country Countdown USA, quote, "Tim knows I've been trying to lean my body down so I can fit in the jeans I wear onstage.  I think he's figured out that on Sunday, I'll eat whatever I want. "So, to test my will power he'll send me a dessert every day. He sent me a whole red velvet cake one day, and he knows I love red velvet cake. I think he's trying to do anything he can so he'll be skinnier than me."

Just as a side note...when Tim was on the road with Luke Bryan for the Emotional Traffic Tour, Tim had Luke's Ford Bronco painted up in graffiti! Removable paint of course. But Tim is known to be a prankster.

Tim McGraw and the Wounded Warrior Project Are Giving Away Free Homes to 25 Military Families!

Here's a great story to kick off your Memorial Day weekend. TIM MCGRAW is working with the Wounded Warrior Project to give away 25 mortgage-free homes to wounded American soldiers and service members in need. They'll be giving a home to one family in 25 different cities on Tim's "Brothers of the Sun" tour with KENNY CHESNEY. Tim is officially kicking off the project on Monday with a special concert in New York City for military personnel who are in town for the annual Fleet Week celebration. Here's Tim's statement: Quote, "My sister’s a veteran of the first Gulf War. My uncle was a Vietnam veteran and my grandfather was a World War II veteran. I've always felt a deep sense of respect and obligation to our troops. "Being able to reward them for their dedicated work with a new home will be even more rewarding for us. It feels so good to give back to them, and to have the opportunity to entertain them on Memorial Day is something I’m honored to do."

Will Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw's New Song "Feel Like a Rock Star" Debut at Number One?

This is the reason they have awards shows. "Feel Like a Rock Star", the new song KENNY CHESNEY and TIM MCGRAW unleashed on Sunday's ACMs is already the most played song on country radio. And it's selling like crazy too. Kenny's label made it available for download during the show and people started jumping on it immediately. According to "Billboard",if it keeps selling at the current pace, it could debut at #1. That would make it only the second song to debut at Number One in the 22-year history of the modern charts. GARTH BROOKS' single "More Than a Memory" debuted at #1 back in September of 2007. And even if the buzz cools off, Kenny's record label is convinced the song will debut in the top ten.

Tim McGraw's Wish List...

I'm sure there are plenty of people who wish they could share the stage with TIM MCGRAW. But who does Tim want to work with? He told CMT Insider that he'd love to perform with BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN. Quote: "[Bruce is] one of my heroes and really the ultimate performer. If I could ever do a song, a show or a tour with him, I would do it in a heartbeat." Since Tim is also a working actor, he has a wish list of co-stars he'd love to act with, including DANIEL DAY-LEWIS, CLINT EASTWOOD and SEAN PENN.

Is Tim McGraw An "Agitated Tyrant" Who Kicked Out Five Members of the Dancehall Doctors?

The other day TIM MCGRAW'S Facebook post mentioned "recent changes" to his backup band, the DANCEHALL DOCTORS. He did NOT go into detail. Fortunately for us, the "National Enquirer" is on it. Or, they're plain full of it. I'll let you decide. Ok? The "Enquirer" quoted some so-called sources who claim that Tim kicked out five members of the band because he's worried they will "expose his darkest secrets". Those secrets being that he's been a holy terror because of lousy concert ticket sales and because he hasn't won a major music award since 2006, when he and FAITH HILL won a Grammy for their duet "Like We Never Loved At All". Tim is supposedly pressuring the band into signing agreements promising they'll keep quiet about the way he's been treating them. A source close to the band said, quote, "During the middle of the tour, he turned into a tyrant. He seemed agitated all the time, he was short-tempered, and he demanded an almost impossible level of perfection. "Nobody really had any idea what had triggered such a drastic change in his personality."

Like I said, I'll let you decide if this is the real story. Remember, it's the "Enquirer" we're talking about here. I'll keep an eye on this one for ya!

Is Tim McGraw Breaking Up the Dancehall Doctors?

TIM MCGRAW wrote an ominous message on his Facebook page about "recent changes" in his backup band, the DANCEHALL DOCTORS. Tim doesn't go into details, but it's pretty clearly that one, or several members, are history.

Here's the post from Facebook -

"As some of you might know, there have been some recent changes in my band. Change can be hard, and it's not something you come to lightly. I couldn't be more proud of the music we've created together over the years, and I'll treasure the memories. I know you will join me in wishing everyone only the best in their future endeavors. Thanks for all the unwavering support you've shown me over the years, and I can't wait to continue our journey…See you all soon!"

I'll keep an eye on this one for ya!

Donny Osmond Would Like to See Tim McGraw on "Dancing with the Stars"!

‘American Idol’ has gone country, so why can’t ‘Dancing With the Stars’ do the same? Singer Donny Osmond, who won the ninth season of the reality dance competition back in 2009, said that he thinks Tim McGraw should compete on the show and show ‘em what two-stepping is all about. According to CMT, when asked during a radio interview who would make a good candidate for the wildly popular TV program, Osmond nominated McGraw. He said, “I think Tim McGraw. As a matter of fact, I was at Tim’s show the other night, and I got onstage with him, and the crowd was going crazy.”

Osmond said that in addition to knowing how to work a crowd, the singer is in good shape and could withstand the physical rigors that come with the show. Osmond continued, “I said, ‘You know, Tim’s in pretty good shape here. He’s got his muscles and the whole bit. I think he should do ‘Dancing With the Stars’!’ And the place went crazy.”

This season’s cast is already set, with the likes of Chaz Bono (Cher’s son) and Nancy Grace (the talk show pundit) confirmed to appear, but perhaps McGraw can yank on his dancing boots next season? He’s already got Osmond campaigning for him, so perhaps McGraw fans could do a Facebook campaign to get him on the show … provided he actually wants to do it! You never know. Maybe we will see McGraw showing ‘em how it’s done, country style, on ‘DWTS’ some time in the future.

Tim McGraw Doesn't Know How He Broke His Foot.

Turns out TIM MCGRAW has no idea how he broke his foot. He tells CMT.com, quote, "I don't know if it happened running or in the part of the show where I jump off speakers. It could've happened any number of ways." As you know, Tim is a workout freak so when he first started experiencing pain he tried to "man up" and power through it. But that just made it worse. He explains, quote, "I kept running and kept working out and kept doing shows. "And for a couple weeks, it just kept getting worse and worse, and it finally got to where I couldn't walk, and it was really swollen." Tim's wife FAITH HILL eventually put her own foot down and insisted he go to the doctor. That's when he found out it was serious. Tim said, quote, "It started out as a stress fracture, and I kept pounding it, pounding it and pounding it, and it got worse and worse." Tim is supposed to wear a corrective boot for four more weeks, but that could stretch out longer if he doesn't STOP exercising like a mad man. He said, quote, "I think I'm not taking care of it as well as I should. "I still work out. I have a machine that's sort of like an elliptical, but it's a seated elliptical that I use a couple of times a day. Nothing replaces running, but at least it's something. And I can still lift."

Tim McGraw Yanked A Drunk Woman Out of The Crowd on Saturday!

TIM MCGRAW has no patience for unruly fans. Even drunk ones that are kind of cute. Tim yanked a wasted young woman from his show last Saturday at The Gorge near Quincy, Washington and had her removed from the venue!Yakima's KDBL "The Bull" offered up a pretty detailed report of what went down. According to the story, two girls wanted to get a high five from Tim as he approached the edge of the stage so they bulldozed their way past the aforementioned drunk chick. That set her off so she tossed her drink on them and some of it hit two other dudes who were standing nearby. That's when tempers flared. Tim saw it all go down, so he stopped the show and tried to restore peace. By now the two guys were cussing out the drunk girl and possibly threatening her. Tim decided it was time to yank the wasted chick completely out of the crowd. And then he ALSO had security remove the two guys. They argued their point but Tim would have none of it. He kept saying, "You've got no choice in the matter." As is the norm these days, somebody recorded much of the action and put it on YouTube.
