Jerrod Niemann Launching New Album, Free the Music, with New York City Performances!

Jerrod Niemann is headed to New York City to launch his new album, Free the Music, hitting stores Tuesday. Look for Jerrod to appear on CBS This Morning...This Morning!. That night, Jerrod is set to perform a show at New York's Housing Works Bookstore Café to raise funds to fight AIDS and homelessness in the city. On Tuesday, Jerrod will head over to Staten Island to sing with the kids at PS 22. The students there have performed with the likes of Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Stevie Nicks and Katy Perry in the past. They've also been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Oscars and more. Free the Music features Jerrod's latest hit, "Shinin' on Me."

Trace Adkins Shines Light on Great American Heroes in GAC Series Premiering August 22!

Trace Adkins is shining a light on people's good works in his new series Great American Heroes, coming to GAC.  The show premieres Wednesday, August 22 at 8 p.m. ET, with each episode featuring three hometown heroes who are doing extraordinary things in their communities. Trace visits with the people being profiled and also hosts them at his concerts in their hometown. The heroes shown on the show come from all walks of life. During a stop in Salina, KS, Trace meets with a minister who teaches carpentry skills to homeless men. He also visits a 13-year-old girl in South Carolina who created a community garden to help feed people in need. Trace says, "These heroes will inspire you, make your heart swell and your eyes tear up. This show does more than tell some good stories, it affirms our faith in others.” Great American Heroes episodes will re-air on GAC on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.

Dierks Bentley Performing CMA Songwriters Series Show in New York City September 13!

Dierks Bentley has signed on to perform at the CMA Songwriters Series show Thursday, September 13 at Joe's Pub in New York City. His frequent collaborator Jim Beavers will join him along with Jaren Johnston and host Bob DiPiero. Dierks calls the CMA Songwriters Series "a really cool gig" and says, "Joe's Pub is so intimate and the audience is a huge part of those shows because they're so close. It's like everybody in the room is in on a secret or something." Dierks also likes the loose nature of these shows. He says, "You've got four guys with guitars, telling stories and drinking whiskey…anything can happen!”

Tim and Faith Announced the Details Of Their Las Vegas Run . . . and There's a Tim McGraw Comic Book On the Way!

TIM MCGRAW and FAITH HILL held their over-hyped press conference yesterday in Vegas to announce the details about their upcoming run at the Venetian Hotel. It's called the "Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Soul 2 Soul at the Venetian" It kicks off December 8th and runs deep into April. These are weekend only shows, with Tim and Faith flying in and out so they can be with their family. Tickets go on sale August 13th and you'll have to dig deep for choice seats. Nosebleeds start at $95.50! One more thing:  Tim is also the star of a brand new comic book.  It's called "FAME:  Tim McGraw" . . . and it tells the riveting story of how Tim rose from humble beginnings to the man he is today.
