The National Corvette Museum Has an Exhibit Featuring Vintage Cars Owned by Brad Paisley, Kix Brooks, George Strait and Dolly Parton.

If you love country music AND muscle cars, well, here's your nirvana. The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky has an exhibit called "Country Music Stars and Cars". It's a collection of Corvettes and Camaros owned by country stars. The exhibit includes Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's 1960 Corvette, Brad Paisley's 1999 Vette, Troy Gentry's 1970 Camaro SS, Steve Wariner's 1966 Vette, Roy Orbison's 1967 Corvette and Marty Robbins' 1981 Corvette. Three of my favorites include KIX BROOKS' 1958 Corvette, GEORGE STRAIT'S 1958 Corvette and DOLLY PARTON'S 1968 Camaro (pictured above). Probably because I HAD a 1967 Camaro SS. Yup, sold it. What a stupid kid I was!

Taylor Swift is the Country Artist with the Most Twitter Followers. But You Probably Can't Guess Who's Number Two.

The website MusicRow.com keeps track of how many Twitter followers each country star has. It's an exhaustive list that goes all the way to 100. It's no surprise that TAYLOR SWIFT is #1 with over 18 million followers. No one else is even close. But I was blown away when I saw DOLLY PARTON coming in second with a little over two million followers. Not disappointed, just surprised. I thought it would be Twitter addict BLAKE SHELTON  . . . who is third with a little under than two million. But I AM calling foul on #4, JENNETTE MCCURDY. Yes, she released a country album . . . but she's only ranked that high because she plays Sam on Nickelodeon's "iCarly", starring MIRANDA COSGROVE. Anyway, here is your Top 10:

#1.)  Taylor Swift . . . 18,703,353
#2.)  Dolly Parton . . . 2,155,012
#3.)  Blake Shelton . . . 1,947,246
#4.)  Jennette McCurdy . . . 1,498,817
#5.)  Miranda Lambert . . . 1,361,744
#6.)  Kenny Chesney . . . 1,006,647
#7.)  Billy Ray Cyrus . . . 998,333
#8.)  Brad Paisley . . . 929,711
#9.)  Lady Antebellum . . . 863,201
#10.)  Carrie Underwood . . . 769,764

A couple of this year's biggest stars just missed the Top 10. LUKE BRYAN was 11th with over 748,000 followers and JASON ALDEAN was right behind at #12, with close to 695,000.

Dolly Parton and Several Other Country Stars React to the Death of Donna Summer.

Several country artists decided to make their feelings known about the passing of DONNA SUMMER. Most of them reached out on Twitter, but DOLLY PARTON, who was pretty tight with Donna, released a formal statement. Here it is: Quote, "I can't believe we've lost another wonderful singer. Donna, like WHITNEY, had one of the greatest voices ever. I loved her records. "She was the disco queen, and will remain so. I knew her and found her to be one of the most likable and fun people ever. She will be missed and remembered." Donna Summer and her husband wrote the song "Starting Over Again", which was a Number One country hit for Dolly back in 1980. (--REBA MCENTIRE also did a version. It peaked at #19 in 1996.)
Here are a few reactions from some other country stars . . .
Sara Evans: "I absolutely love her music! Had her albums as a child and memorized them! She'll be missed!"

Billy Ray Cyrus: "Legend!!! Your music will live forever."

(Oak Ridge Boys') Joe Bonsall: "R.I.P. Donna Summer. Disco Queen dies at 63 of cancer . . . #lastdance."

LeAnn Rimes: "Donna Summer . . . RIP. Saddened she's gone so soon."

Reba McEntire: "My thoughts and prayers go out to Donna Summer's family. I will miss her but she will live on through all her wonderful music!"

A Fan Once Left a Live Baby at Dolly Parton's Doorstep.

There's been a rumor out there for a while that a fan once left a baby on DOLLY PARTON'S doorstep. I've always thought it was an urban legend until now. Because Dolly recently confirmed it. She said, quote, "There are all kinds of things that people ask me to do but I tell this story and it's a true story but freaky. Years ago when I first started being a big star I had fans that were fanatical. It was when 'Jolene' was a big hit. "We came home one day and there was a baby in a box at our gate with a note in it. The note said, 'My name is Jolene, my momma has left me here and she wants you to have me.' Of course, we all freaked out!" Because Dolly is SANE, she did the right thing. She continues, quote, "We immediately called Human Services and took care of the baby until they got there. We never did know or hear anything about it. I knew nothing else. "There are some loony people in this world! Can you imagine yourself in that situation? It wasn't like it was a kitten or a puppy. It was a baby named Jolene!"
