Don't Believe the Rumors . . . Sara Evans Was Not Involved in a Car Wreck

SARA EVANS had to take to her Twitter page yesterday to assure her fans that she was NOT involved in a car crash. She Tweeted, quote, "There's a rumor that I was in a car wreck. It's not true, thank God!"
Turns out it was a 16-year-old from Ohio named Sarah (with an "h") Evans . . . who had the accident last week. Fortunately, she's okay . . . but people got confused. So, to clear things up, our favorite country singer named Sara Evans sent out the previously mentioned Tweet. And for good measure, she posted another Tweet with a photo (above) of her looking fine and doing a promotional tour. Sara wrote, quote, "Doing a satellite TV tour for the AXS TV airing of my show in Naperville, Illinois this Sunday.

Sara Evans Thinks VP Candidate Paul Ryan is Cute . . . And She's "Leaning Toward" Voting for Romney

Will his boyish good looks help Republican Vice Presidential nominee PAUL RYAN get some votes in November? SARA EVANS thinks so. She says, quote, "He's cute! I think human beings are drawn to other human beings who are beautiful or handsome. "I do think that it probably helps to sway people towards liking somebody, if they're handsome or if they're fit or if they dress good. It probably shouldn't be that way but it's almost like human nature." She adds, quote, "But I definitely don't think anybody should be voting for someone just because they're cute." By the way . . . Sara hasn't completely made up her mind on who she'll be punching the ticket for in November. She says, quote, "My tendency has always been to lean more conservative, for sure. "I don't know that I can say I have [decided] for sure, but I'm leaning towards [MITT] ROMNEY."

Check Out This Great Looking Photo of Sara Evans Without Her Makeup.

SARA EVANS posted a Facebook photo of herself without makeup on Sunday and almost instantaneously her page was bombarded with "likes" and positive comments. In fact, within ten minutes of the post she had OVER 3,000 Facebook "likes"! And as of last night, she had passed 43,500. Here's Sara's original post, quote, "I'm feeling brave and posting a picture of me without makeup." Even more amazing is that Sara's gotten over 5,000 comments and 99.9% are positive. Even the negative ones are just guys trying, and failing, to be funny. Most of the comments were like, "You look better without makeup" . . . or . . . "You are gorgeous without makeup." And my favorite, "Hot is an understatement!" By the way . . . this didn't start out as any kind of statement by Sara. She did it on a whim because she was so pumped about the way her stylist had done her hair that day. Sara has impeccable timing too.  She was taping footage for one of her "Simply Sara" Webisodes while this whole thing was going down.  (--You can watch that here.)  As you'd expect, Sara was blown away by all the positive feedback. She said, quote, "We were truly shocked. I've never had that many 'likes' on anything. "I think people responded to it because it's just very real, and as women we are way, way too hard on ourselves. It just felt good to send a picture out with no makeup . . . just me exactly as I am . . . and get that kind of response."

The NEW "Brady Bunch"?

SARA EVANS and her husband JAY BARKER may expand their "Brady Bunch"-style family.  They have seven kids between them . . . but none together . . . so "OK Magazine" asked if they're considering popping out another.  Sara said, quote, "We would actually love to, yes.  That would be a blessing.  We'll see."

Sara Evans To Release New Album In March 2011

Sara Evans is set to release Stronger, her first studio album since 2005, on March 8, 2011. Evans says she took time off to deal with personal struggles (her highly publicized divorce) and to spend time with family.

“I cannot be creative unless my world is right,” she tells CMT. Understanding that many artists write and record their best music while undergoing personal heartache, Sara says that mindset has never worked for her. “A lot of people will say, ‘You know, when I was going through my divorce or when I was going through rehab … ‘ You always hear artists talk about, ‘Those are the best songs I’ve written.’ I’m the total opposite.”

The album will include her current single, “A Little Bit Stronger,” which was written by Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, and Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott.
