Okay. Here's the deal. I'm a gadget guy and if there's something cool out there that's gonna make my life easier somehow, I'm goin' for it. This is no different. Now don't get me wrong, I don't have a ton of property. But I do have enough that causes me to keep going outside moving sprinklers so that the whole lawn gets watered. Well, thanks to my wife and inlaws we now have the John Deere Travling Sprinkler! They told me the story of how they had this "walking" sprinkler and I was interested. Hell! I had to have one! So, it arrived last night and it works great! I'm not lazy, not by any stretch. But I do believe in "Work Smarter. Not Harder"!

The Rapture Didn't Happen on Saturday, But at Least Someone Found the Virgin Mary on a Turtle Shell!
The Rapture didn't end up happening over the weekend, so the second coming is not upon us after all. But the world DID get this . . . On Saturday, in Streamwood, Illinois, a woman found an image of the VIRGIN MARY on the underside of a turtle. I'm always skeptical of these things and the image looks more like DARTH VADER than the Virgin Mary to me. But it's the closest we got to something of Biblical proportions on Saturday, so we'll roll with it.

John Rich Thinks a "Fair Portion" of Celebrities are Completely Crazy . . . And He Swears Donald Trump's Hair is Real!
Are celebrities completely crazy, or does it just seem like it? They are, according to JOHN RICH, who was asked that very question. He answered, quote, "Completely crazy? A fair portion. I think to have a long career in the entertainment business, you've got to be a little crazy because you get the snot beaten out of you a lot. "You get told no. You fail a whole lot. To keep coming back and back and back when the odds are stacked so high against you, you've got to be a little crazy. It's like being a bull rider."
--Speaking of John Rich, by competing on "The Celebrity Apprentice", which he won on Sunday, he's actually been close enough to get a good look at what's on DONALD TRUMP'S head. And John swears that it REALLY IS HAIR. He said, quote, "What surprised me the most is that (Trump's) hair is real. It is! It actually is. He had HOPE (DWORACZYK), who is a 'Playboy' playmate, of course, come up, and he said, 'Hope, you can feel it. It's totally real.' "Sure enough, she's running her fingers through it and we're all going, 'Okay, here you go.'"
Now THAT'S Funny!

Carrie Underwood Does *Not* Consider Herself a Celebrity.
There are two distinct sides to CARRIE UNDERWOOD. There's the celebrity side that you and I see and then there's the normal, boring chick who never does anything interesting. Hey, that's how she describes herself. Carrie says, quote, "I live the most boring life away from what you see me on camera doing. I never go out to eat. I never do anything. I think that's why I consider myself not a celebrity. I'm a normal person who sings on stage. "I'm a maid . . . I clean the house. Me as Carrie the person wanders around in sweatpants." Of course, when it's time to be on, Carrie's ready. She continues, quote, "When I'm on stage, I feel like a performer, and I know people are looking at me and taking pictures and all that stuff, and they're singing along. That part is wonderful. When I have to look like Carrie Underwood, I (do)."

Lee Brice Is Glad He Took His Time Before He Released His Debut Album.
There are tons of little things that go into making a really good album. Two of them are patience and experience. That's what LEE BRICE discovered. The record company suits wanted Lee to drop a debut album back in 2007, but he said no. Instead, he kept performing and working the road before finally releasing "Love Like Crazy" last summer. He's glad he waited. Lee says, quote, "It would not have been near the album we have now. Being out on the road changes your perspective, and you start to grow as a person. These past few years I learned that, as a songwriter, I can focus on quality, not quantity. I have less time to write now, but I only focus on a song that will be something special."
